Sublimation Basic Technology
Sublimation is the process where a solid
turns directly into gas, bypassing the liquid state.
Sublimation ink
is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going
through a liquid form. The conversion is initiated by heat and
controlled with pressure and time. when sublimation ink be heated more
than 300F (155C), the ink will turn to gas, the gas can be combined with
polyester, so bring color on surface of polyester.

The objects, like mug, plate, ceramic, fiber board, metals, etc.
doesn't have polyester elements, can't be applied for sublimation
ink. You must purchase the mugs, tiles, metals, etc. with the coating
polyester already on them. 100% cotton fabric can't be applied
sublimation, you do not need any coating, it is applied directly to the
50/50 -100% poly fabric.
Because we don't have white ink, the white area of the image
transferred is background. Don't transfer on color object. For example,
if we printed a photo on dark paper, see nothing.
Epson printer is basic on "cold printing head", others printer (like HP)
is basic on "hot printing head", when sublimation ink is through printing
head, the ink will be heating. Only Epson printer can be used for
sublimation ink.
Sublimation transfer has a special finish on the surface so the inks
do not soak into the paper. After you print the transfer paper it is
then placed on the product to be applied with a heat press.
